The Golden Eagle Has Yielded

WRITTEN BY Roger E. Pedersen — PUBLISHED BY PSI PUBLISHING INC.

The Golden Eagle Has Yielded is the third installment in Roger E. Pedersen’s SuperPower series — a high-octane continuation of the saga, combining superhero action, political intrigue, and gender-charged alliances in a world where power, loyalty, and betrayal are the ultimate currencies.

The novel opens at the memorial service for the Steele brothers, where the Martin twins and their paramours pay respects to their adversaries who died en route to a lifetime sentence. The story then follows Myrena Gorgona, a SuperPower SuperModel with ambitions beyond being a romantic interest for the Steele twins. She forms the Lemnian Deeds Federation, a new female-led SuperPower organization that welcomes both SuperPowered individuals and non-SuperPowered women, while non-SuperPowered men are relegated to domestic roles.

Myrena’s goal with her Lemnian Deeds Federation is to challenge the two dominant SuperPower groups — DODGE (the Department of Defense’s Genetically Engineered) Initiative and the Golden Eagle Organization.

After the deadly race along India’s Delhi–Mumbai Expressway to secure the Liberty Bell Ruby, Professor Steele stages the “Eight Tea Days Around Europe” hypercar race under global scrutiny. Myrena and her Lemnian Deeds Federation assassins campaign “Stop the Professor, Now and Forever,” targeting the Steele family as the Deeds confront the other EV racers along the route.

"Stop the Professor, now and forever."

Gold Award-Winning Book #3 The Golden Eagle Has Yielded — 5 Stars

★★★★★

SuperPower The Ability to Fly or to Become Invisible: The Golden Eagle Has Yielded (Book #3), Roger E Pedersen, author. Gold Award-Winning Book #3 The Golden Eagle has Yielded, 5 stars.

By now, the twins Rocky and Apollo are obsessed with SuperModel Myrena Gorgona, but she has ambitions beyond being mere arm candy for the amorous Steele twins. She’s set her sights on controlling the Golden Eagle Organization. When the Professor decides Myrena isn’t entirely up to the job, he unleashes her formidable wrath. She joins forces with a group of women seeking retribution. The Lemnian Deeds Federation goes after the Steeles under the banner “Stop the Professor, Now and Forever.” At the same time, the Organization still has to contend with DODGE (the Department of Defense Genetically Engineered), so it’s far from certain that Golden Eagle will prevail this time.

Fans of this series will love the new challenge to DODGE and the Steele family. As with his earlier books, Pedersen has packed The Golden Eagle has Yielded with a wealth of well-researched, painstaking detail. Pedersen engages readers with a fast-paced narrative and numerous unexpected twists and turns. The author masterfully weaves a web of intrigue and suspense, making it difficult to predict which group will ultimately prevail and adding an element of excitement and uncertainty. The Martin twins, in particular, are well-developed and evolve throughout the narrative as they grapple with their parents’ legacy and the challenges of leadership. The Steele brothers, Rocky and Apollo, also make for compelling antagonists, with their newest SuperPower acquisitions adding an extra layer of complexity to the plot. SuperPower is an engaging and well-crafted sequel, but it requires readers to be familiar with the events of the first book in the series. Those who have not read the previous installment may initially find themselves confused by the intricate web of relationships and alliances.

SuperPower: The Ability to Fly or to Become Invisible: The Golden Eagle has Yielded is a gripping continuation of the SuperPower series. With well-developed characters, a thrilling plot, and unexpected twists, it builds on the foundation laid by its predecessor.

Intrigue, fantasy, and a world of power dynamics are masterfully woven together in this captivating novel. SuperPower: The Ability to Fly or to Become Invisible: The Golden Eagle Has Yielded (Book #3) by Roger E. Pedersen delves into the clandestine and turbulent world that lurks beneath the facade of power.

The Steele family and its enigmatic ‘Golden Eagle’ organization, composed entirely of individuals possessing extraordinary abilities, exert a shadowy influence over society through their immense wealth and supernatural powers. Its members move seamlessly through governmental circles while conducting covert operations, thereby blurring the distinction between public service and concealed agendas. However, their dominance encounters a formidable challenge when Professor Steele, the patriarch, confronts an aspiring member who becomes an unexpected adversary, precipitating a supernatural war with profound stakes and unimaginable consequences. Plot Summary — Myrena, DODGE, and the Eight Tea Days Hypercar Race

SuperPower: The Ability to Fly or to Become Invisible: The Golden Eagle Has Yielded (Book #3) by Roger Pedersen. “The Golden Eagle Has Yielded” is the third installment in Roger E. Pedersen’s SuperPower science fiction series, following The Deal of the Art and The Next Generation. It continues the high-stakes, action-packed adventures of the Steele twins, Rocky and Apollo, and their encounters with the enigmatic SuperModel, Myrena Gorgona.

Plot Summary: in this book, Rocky and Apollo are drawn into a dangerous situation when Myrena Gorgona, mesmerized by her own allure, begins to desire control of the Golden Eagle Organization — a powerful group led by Professor Steele. The adage “Hell has no fury like a woman scorned” takes on a literal and figurative edge as Myrena’s campaign intensifies.

Professor Steele, ever vigilant, decides Myrena must “walk before she runs,” setting the stage for escalating conflict. The story expands to include the DODGE (Department of Defense Genetically Engineered) Initiative — encountering a new threat to the balance of power. The Lemnian Deeds Federation, a newly formed female coalition seeking retribution for past wrongs, is headed by SuperModel Myrena Gorgona.

A deadly race along India’s Delhi–Mumbai Expressway to secure the legendary Liberty Bell Ruby. Then, the world watches Professor Steele’s iBroadcast “Eight Tea Days Around Europe” Hypercar EV race, where Myrena’s loyal SuperPower assassin members join her “Stop the Professor, Now and Forever” campaign.

The novel blends: high-octane action and political intrigue; dystopian sci-fi elements with genetically engineered forces and advanced technology; character-driven drama, especially in the evolving relationship between Myrena and the Steele twins; global stakes, as events unfold across continents and involve both covert operations and public spectacle.

A Direct Letter — Hell Hath No Fury Like Myrena Scorned

Dear Author Roger E. Pedersen, I just finished SuperPower: The Golden Eagle Has Yielded, and it stayed with me long after I closed it. A star rating alone did not feel like enough, so I wanted to reach out to you directly.

What struck me first was the scale of the world you built. The Steele twins, Rocky and Apollo, become mesmerized by the SuperModel Myrena Gorgona, who seeks to control the Golden Eagle Organization. That is a family story, a power struggle, and a seduction, all at once. Then you added the Department of Defense Genetically Engineered Initiative and a newly formed female coalition, the Lemnian Deeds Federation, seeking retribution. That is a lot of moving pieces, and the fact that you gave that coalition a name rooted in classical mythology tells me you are building something with real depth.

What impressed me most is how you kept escalating without losing the thread. New SuperPower individuals are introduced, previous ones reappear, and then you launch a deadly race along India’s New Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to acquire the famous Liberty Bell Ruby. That is a fantastic set piece because it combines a real-world location with a high-stakes objective and gives the reader a clear visual to hold onto. Then you topped it with the Professor’s iBroadcast event, Eight Tea Days Around Europe, where Myrena launches her Stop the Professor campaign with her loyal SuperPower members. That is a genuinely clever structure because it turns the entire world into an audience for the conflict.

What makes this series work is that you are not just writing about powers. You are writing about what people do with them. Myrena is a fascinating antagonist because she is not simply evil. She is a woman who was told she needed to walk before she could run, and her response to being held back is to build a coalition of her own. The adage about hell having no fury like a woman scorned does real narrative work here, giving the conflict emotional weight rather than just spectacle.
